Character Joinery a division of Transition Interiors Ltd, is a traditionally skilled, bespoke joinery workshop specialising in all aspects of timber products.  Character Joinery has been trading for over 30 years, operating from a fully equipped 10,000 sq ft manufacturing workshop staffed by time served bench hand joiners and cabinetmakers. Having this workshop capacity allows us to facilitate construction works for Transition Interiors Ltd in their contract catering designs. Covering mainly Scotland & the North of England, we can supply products to anywhere in the UK.

Working in partnership with architects, contractors and customers, we offer an expert approach to joinery and manufacturing, so you can be assured of our attention to detail and finish quality, whilst working to current standards and building regulations. We can also offer expert advice on Conservation & Listed Building projects.

We are approved KRION™ fabricators which is very popular as a work surface in the Catering Industry due to its stunning appearance combined with anti-bacterial properties. It is cut in a similar way to wood, allowing us to cut the sheets, connect them and thermoform them to create curved sections and can even be injected during the production process, making it possible to create different designs and projects that are impossible to achieve with other materials. We offer KRION™ fabrications in a wide range of colours, including a white finish that stands out for its purity and neutrality in comparison with other similar material.

We also offer other finishes such as laminates, solid wood, stainless steel & granite or marble.

Character Joinery are holders of CSCS Cards (Construction Skills Certification Scheme).
