HUTCHESONS’ HALL

Hutchesons’ Hall, an early 1800’s iconic A-listed building in the centre of Glasgow, has been transformed by restaurateurs James & Louise Rusk into sophisticated eatery, Hutchesons. Transition were appointed as fit out contractors, installing a new kitchen and bespoke stainless steel bars, alongside sister company, Character Joinery, who completed the fabrication of both ground and first floor bars and curved booth seating. Naturally, finish and attention to detail were top priorities, so the materials selected needed to reflect the grandeur of the surroundings. Arabascato marble, solid timber and antique brass create the elegant ground floor bar, with the first floor Grand Hall Brasserie bar being constructed using Pewter bar top and Meranti timber. Having this prior relationship with the Hutchesons team, when they were subsequently looking for a contractor to fit out their exclusive private dining room, naturally Transition were their first port of call.

Many Congratulations to clients James and Louise Rusk owners of Hutcheson Hall, winners of Scottish Style Award for Most Stylish Restaurant from all at Transition.
